Beiting West Temple Ruins | Beiting Gaochang Huihu Buddhist Temple Ruins.

The statues of the Beiting Gaochang Huihu Buddhist Temple Ruins are widely distributed in the side halls and niches, including Maitreya statues, Shakyamuni statues, Arhat statues, Bodhisattva statues, Heavenly King statues, and Hercules statues. The combination of sculpture and painting complements each other, with exquisite and delicate sculpting techniques and rich and magnificent colors, reflecting the solemn and mysterious Buddhist atmosphere of the Beiting Gaochang Huihu Buddhist Temple. It is a rare masterpiece of statue art in the historical period of Xinjiang, China. The Beiting Gaochang Huihu Buddhist Temple Ruins are divided into two parts: the north and the south. The northern part includes the main hall and the surrounding niche ruins, while the southern part includes the side halls, courtyards, monk rooms, and other ruins. A total of eight side halls have been discovered, and all five of the completely excavated halls contain statues.
