Grand Egyptian Museum travel guide~

Long trip across Eurasia, finally the Grand Egyptian Museum is open! It's a great place for photos, I couldn't get enough of it. 📍[Location] The new museum is located near the Giza Pyramids, with convenient transportation. It's easy to take a taxi from downtown Cairo. It takes about half an hour. 🕌[Accommodation] To visit the museum from morning to night, I chose to stay at a hotel right across from the Grand Egyptian Museum: Royal Great Pyramid Inn. Just cross the street to get there. You can see the night view of the Grand Egyptian Museum from the top floor of the hotel, and the pyramids from the hotel room. 🏰[Architecture] The new museum is a work of art in itself, with a perfect blend of modern design and ancient Egyptian elements. Standing at the entrance, you can feel the collision of history and modernity. 📜[Exhibits] Walking into the museum is like starting a journey through time and space. From the golden masks of the pharaohs to the exquisite pottery figurines, every exhibit is amazing. Especially the treasure area of Tutankhamun, which is dazzling and stunning! 🔍[Technology] The interactive exhibition is amazing! With high-tech means such as VR and AR, you can learn more about the stories behind the exhibits. I experienced the VR of building the pyramids, and I felt like I was really an ancient Egyptian craftsman. It was so cool! 🌟[Shopping experience] I especially like the gift shop. The souvenirs are all very beautiful and of good quality. I will definitely go back if I have the chance. 📅[Opening hours] Usually from 9 am to 5 pm every day, but it is recommended to check in advance to avoid a wasted trip. 💡[Tips] Remember to book tickets online in advance, as it may be crowded on site. Also, bring comfortable shoes, as the museum is large and requires a lot of walking. 🚀📸
