Worship the Mon-style Pagoda in Nakhon Chum City

🙏 Wat Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum, an ancient temple that has been with Kamphaeng Phet for a long time. It is believed to have been built along with the city of Nakhon Chum, serving as the city's main temple like Wat Phra Kaew. 🛕 Originally, the temple had three chedis with a lotus bud shape on the same base. It is believed to have been built by King Mahathammaracha Lithai in 1357 to dedicate to Phokhun Si Intharathit, Phokhun Ramkhamhaeng, and the central chedi for himself, containing the Buddha's relics. 🧱 During the reign of King Rama V, the chedi was renovated. Phraya Takka and Papo, Karen timber merchants, built a Mon-style chedi over the original base, giving it a Burmese (Mon) artistic style.
