Tour of ruins

#FukuokaPrefecture #YoshinogariRuins I went to Fukuoka City Museum and Yoshinogari Ruins to see the Golden Seal. It takes about 30 minutes from Hakata Station to the Fukuoka City Museum by bus terminal. The museum's south exit is much closer than the museum's north exit. The entrance fee is 200 yen, and the exhibits range from the Yayoi period to the present day Gion Yamakasa, making it very easy to see and enjoy the colors. The Golden Seal is on display right after you enter. When I went to the National Treasure Exhibition a long time ago, there were so many people that I couldn't take my time looking at it, but now you can see the details on the touch panel. The next day, I changed trains at Tosu and went to Yoshinogari Park Station in Saga Prefecture to see the long-awaited Yoshinogari Ruins. I saw the buildings and jar coffins that were reproduced based on the thickness and height of the pillars, and learned about the high standard of living and wisdom of the time. I was very impressed to see that the foundation of our modern life has remained almost unchanged since the Jomon and Yayoi periods, and that the wisdom of ancient people is utilized in the lifestyle we live in today. It was by no means barbaric, and Himiko, who ruled a large country, was the first to send an envoy to China and received various gifts, and is now a national treasure in Japan. In the evening, we had a shellfish course with hot sake at Hanayoshisan, which serves shellfish and motsu nabe, which have been eaten since the Jomon and Yayoi periods, and then we had foamy ramen at Ikkosha and champon, Sendai beef tongue at Hakata Station, Yamanaka's crab sushi bento on the Shinkansen, and bought many souvenirs from Hakata, making it a very satisfying and enjoyable trip. I often forget to take photos of the food, but the main attraction is the Yoshinogari ruins, so the photos are modest, but in the summer there is a barbecue zone, a playground, and an experience zone, so it looks like it would be fun for friends, groups, and families. There is a free bus (every 10 minutes or so) that runs around the park on weekends and holidays, so you don't have to worry about the vast grounds. It's a wonderful place. Please come and visit...
