Zambia Tour (2)

The next day, we had breakfast at the resort. The breakfast variety was quite rich. Tomatoes, pumpkin, and barbecue were all delicious. As for the pastries, I felt they were too sweet and did not like them. When you come to Zambia, it is recommended that you eat more tomatoes, potatoes, onions and corn. After breakfast, we were waiting in the lobby at 7:30. The travel agency sent a car with a local guide to take us to the wildlife park near the resort. (We originally booked a 6:30 departure and came back for breakfast after the tour. Later, we found that booking a 7:30 departure was a wise move) The wind was particularly cold in the morning and the car was ventilated on all sides, so I had to wear a thin jacket. It took about ten minutes to get there. After entering the park, the car drove very slowly. We stretched our necks and looked around, afraid of missing anything. (This is also the reason why the travel agency suggested that we set out at 6:30, for fear that if it was too late, the animals would hide.) Fortunately, we were lucky, and soon we saw herds of deer, zebras, and monkeys one after another. Every time we saw an animal, the local black driver and tour guide explained it to us in English. The car drove slowly along the designated route. Haha, we even saw three 🦒 and a warthog. The park is very large, but very clean, without any garbage. After two hours of leisurely touring, the tour guide drove the car to the Zambezi River, rested for a while, and went to the bathroom. Although the bathroom was simple, it was very clean. We were taking pictures by the Zambezi River, and the tour guide gave us drinks, including Coke, Sprite, orange juice and mineral water, all of which were iced. Then we set off and walked around for another hour, then we were taken to another park. When we arrived at the destination, we needed to get off the bus, and the park staff took us one after another to see the rhinos up close. They all carried their own. When we arrived at the rhino resting place, the staff in front motioned for us not to speak, and pointed to a few rhinos resting under the shade of a tree not far away. We were so scared that we dared not breathe, and quickly took a few photos and left. The driver took us back to the resort at about half past ten and we gave him a tip. The morning trip is over.
