The best pastime is to go to a bar with a group of friends, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and chat all night long. Regardless of the quality of the beer, the decoration and atmosphere of a bar can better highlight its soul, and a bar with a story is even more fascinating. On the first night of the trip, we all spent time at Wave Bar, which I would describe as a small bar with good beer, atmosphere and stories. It is a great place for a group of friends to hang out. The bar is located in the basement of an old house. It has a simple and plain appearance and is designed for the hipsters. There are also some artworks woven with fishing nets and beer bottles at the entrance, making it feel like the ocean is inseparable from everything on the island. Later I learned that the bar was converted from the owner’s old house, which added a touch of nostalgia. The mural behind the sofa area caught my eye the most. With a pink-blue background, a whale made of ocean waves, and a tree made of water splashes, it forms a painting called "Symbiosis", implying that the island and its residents can live in harmony and respect each other. As the only craft beer bar on the island, in addition to fruit wines named after the 24 solar terms, it also has the Xiaoliuqiu limited craft beer "Haigui" that attracted me. The name of the wine is homophonic with "sea turtle" because the boss hopes that young people will be like sea turtles and return to the ocean of Xiaoliuqiu. I am reminded of what Feng Zikai wrote in "Willows": "Thousands of willows stand on the streets, each one of them never forgets its roots..." Born and raised here, I am here, and so are you.
