Day 1: Arrival in Khao Kho - Strolling Through the Old Town
Upon arriving in Khao Kho, the warm sunshine embraced me. The town's airport, though small, exuded a rustic charm. I hopped on a tuk-tuk and headed to my pre-booked guesthouse, a traditional Thai wooden house surrounded by lush greenery and the chirping of birds.

After a short rest, I strolled through the old town of Khao Kho. The ancient city walls, weathered by time, still revealed the majesty of the past. The town is dotted with temples. Stepping into one, I was greeted by solemn Buddha statues and devout worshippers offering prayers. The air was filled with the faint scent of incense, instantly calming my heart. The exquisite murals on the temple walls depicted ancient stories, as if narrating the historical changes of this small town.

1. 碧差汶府考柯山上Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew寺廟裡有一尊五頭佛像，第一眼看到就被震撼到。地圖顯示營業到晚上六點，但六點後只是亮燈，仍然有很多遊客陸續到達。參觀無需門票，但需要脫鞋。佛像建在一座高台上，風景很好。
2. 蓮花座是一個三層的建築，每一層分別供奉了不同的佛像。因為去的時候有點晚，我們只去了最頂層的房間。當天遇到僧人在講解，可以隨喜做功德，會得到開過光的手繩，然後抱着袈裟繞着佛堂走三圈。裡面有一個小屋，有很多白色的線，像是一種淨化，據說這個屋子平時是不開放的。整個寺廟面積很大，可以逛很久。另一邊寺廟整個外牆和地面都是用瓷片裝飾的，特別五彩繽紛，花園裡還能看到散養的孔雀，這些都很值得參觀。
3. 聽碧差汶的名字就感覺是一座碧綠有生氣又夾雜着細膩平和的城市，果然地如其名。陰天的考柯更增添了它寧靜祥和的韻味，不止天氣，內心也是如此。自然好美好，天地好龐大，放慢腳步，深呼吸，盡情呼吸高山的清新空氣。

1. In Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew, a temple on Khao Kho Mountain in Phetchabun Province, there is a five-headed Buddha statue. The first sight of it is truly awe-inspiring. The map shows that it is open until 6pm, but after 6pm, the lights are simply turned on, and many tourists still arrive to visit. There is no admission fee, but you need to take off your shoes. The Buddha statue is built on a high platform, offering beautiful scenery.
2. The lotus throne is a three-story building, with each floor enshrining different Buddha statues. Because we arrived a little late, we only visited the top floor room. We encountered a monk explaining the statues that day. You can make a donation and receive a consecrated bracelet. Then, holding the monk's robe, you walk around the Buddhist hall three times. Inside, there is a small room with many white threads, like a kind of purification. It is said that this room is usually not open. The entire temple area is very large and can be visited for a long time. The other side of the temple's exterior walls and ground are decorated with porcelain pieces, making it particularly colorful. You can also see peacocks roaming freely in the garden, all of which are worth seeing.
3. Just hearing the name Phetchabun evokes a sense of a verdant, vibrant city, yet also imbued with a delicate tranquility. Indeed, the place lives up to its name.
