King Tacos, the birthplace of taco rice

This restaurant is affectionately known as "Kintaco" by Okinawans. I drove around in a rental car and tried both the main store in Kin and the Yokatsu store, which I had seen reviews on Google Maps saying was the best Kintaco. In the end, I personally preferred the main store, as it had a stronger flavor. The meat at the Yokatsu store seemed a little bland, so I think this store is more recommended for people who like bland flavors. The portions are so big they almost spill out of the container, but the exquisite taste of the taco meat, cheese, and sauce is so delicious that you can keep eating! The taco rice in the photo is "Taco Rice Cheese Vegetables" and if you order "Taco Rice" at this restaurant, you will get only taco meat on the rice. Other options include "Taco Rice Cheese" which is just cheese on rice, and "Taco Rice Vegetables" which is just lettuce on rice. The tacos we ordered were also very delicious (but the ingredients fall apart as you eat, so it's honestly quite hard to eat). The area where the main store is located is close to the US military base, and the atmosphere of the alleys is so American that you'll feel like you're in America. It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the store, so you can enjoy the cityscape. #Okinawa Tourism
