Yamatogawa Sake Brewery is a long-established sake brewery in Kitakata that was founded in 1790 (Kansei 2) in the mid-Edo period. Here at the Kitakata Fudokan Museum, the Edo, Taisho, and Showa era sake breweries are open to the public, and you can tour and taste the sake. It's interesting to see the tools used in sake brewing in the past on display, and the explanations of how it was made. In the Showa brewery, there are rows of sake bottles made here, making it look like a stylish museum. And finally, the long-awaited tasting time 🍶 You can sample more than 10 types of Yaemon sake and liqueurs for free.
