This shrine is located in the center of Sannomiya. It is the third shrine among the eight shrines from Ichinomiya to Hachinomiya, and the deity enshrined here is the goddess Takitsuhime-no-Mikoto, the daughter of Amaterasu Omikami. She is said to protect the safety of maritime navigation and the prosperity of commerce and industry. Within the precincts, there are historical sites such as the Genpei Historical Site 'Kawahara Reisha' and the 'Site of the Kobe Incident' monument, along with cannons from that time.
