Higashi Yuenchi Park is about a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya Station, walking along Flower Road. This urban park is famous for its Luminarie, but there are also many green spaces within the park that make it a place of relaxation for local residents. It is spacious and beautifully maintained. There is a monument commemorating the victims of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and commemorating the recovery, and it is also a venue for memorial events.
