[Tokyo🇯🇵] Travel back in time? A relaxing one-day plan to spend in Tokyo

Tokyo is mostly known within its 23 wards, but the surrounding cities are great places to spend a relaxing weekend. This time, we'll be introducing the Edo Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum in Koganei City! ! It's about 50 minutes by train and bus from Shinjuku Station. It's in a fairly accessible location, so it's a great place to go when you want to get away from the busy city. It's a surprisingly large historical amusement facility. There are many buildings related to Tokyo and Edo, and you can really feel like you've traveled back in time! Here are some recommendations~ ①Showa-era streetscape with an old public bath♨️ (photos 1-3) This place was apparently used as a reference for Spirited Away. It's a very relaxing place with a view like something out of a Showa-era drama. Enjoy taking photos while thinking about how much you'd like to spend your time in a place with an atmosphere like this. ②Edo-era building (4th photo) In the western area, you can feel the history going back to the Edo period. There are stilt-floored warehouses and farmhouses with hearths, and you can feel the beauty of life in the past. Farm life is reproduced in detail, so it is a very interesting piece of architecture for history lovers. ④ De Lalande House (photos 6-7) A mansion with a Western atmosphere that reminds me of Totoro's house. It is now a cafe, so you can relax and enjoy a drink! The coffee float is especially recommended in the hot summer, so be sure to visit in the coming season! ⑤ Koganei Park (photo 9) And outside the Open Air Architectural Museum is Koganei Park. It is a place where you can spend a relaxing time on the weekends, going on picnics or taking a walk.
