Relaxing at Koh Larn

From Bangkok, I took a van service at Victory Monument. The van station is located at Century Mall, which is easy to find. The fare is 150 baht. After getting on the van, I took a short nap, and before I knew it, the driver woke me up, saying we had arrived at Bali Hai Pier. I bought a ferry ticket to Koh Larn, initially thinking it would cost a lot. But oh... it was only 30 baht, very cheap. Sometimes you can't even buy a meal in Bangkok for 30 baht. But this 30 baht allowed me to experience Koh Larn! I don't want to bore you with too much complaining, so let's continue with the journey. The ferry we took was a two-story boat, which looked very safe. There were both Thai and foreign passengers on board. Some were sipping beer, reading books, or admiring the beauty of the sea. As the ferry moved further from the shore, the sea turned a beautiful clear blue. It took only 45 minutes to reach Na Baan Pier. The sea here is quite clear, clearer than Pattaya's shore. I visited on a weekday, so there weren't many tourists, making it feel like Koh Larn was all mine. I decided to be a biker for a day and rented a motorcycle for 300 baht to explore the island. I enjoyed the beauty of bikinis and the sea at Tawaen Beach to my heart's content. Then, I rode the same bike to Sangwan Beach. When I saw it, I thought it was even more beautiful than Tawaen Beach, with fewer people. The sea was clear, but there were many rocks and sea urchins. I think it's perfect for relaxing and letting your mind wander with the sea in front of you. What I liked most here was the wooden bridge, which felt very romantic. Next, I went to Samae Beach. The road here is quite steep as you have to go up and down hills. If you're not familiar with the road, I recommend taking a car. As for me, I was well-trained in Pai, so this road was not challenging. Along the way, I saw wind turbines that generate electricity for the island. I admire the creators of these wind turbines because they provide clean energy and have become a landmark of Koh Larn. Everyone who visits takes photos with them. From this spot, you can see the beautiful Samae Beach. I recommend coming here around 4 PM, then enjoy swimming until around 5:30 PM, and drive to watch the beautiful sunset from here. You will fall in love with Koh Larn, a nearby beauty that doesn't require a long journey. The clear blue sea and azure sky are waiting for you.
