[Yamanashi] Ohikage Tunnel, a tunnel on the Chuo Line where many trains once passed through

#0yentravel I walked to the Old Daihikage Tunnel Promenade from Katsunuma-budokyo Station. When I entered the tunnel, it was cool and quiet, unlike the brightness outside, and the old brick walls continued all the way to the back. This is a railway tunnel built in the Meiji period, and it seems to have been in active use on the Chuo Main Line for a long time. As I walked, looking at the soot marks from steam locomotives remaining on the walls and the old photos on display, I felt the natural flow of time. Although it was a straight road, it was somehow fantastical, and I felt like I could still hear the sound of the trains running. It was a mysterious space where history and nature coexisted.
