‘Likas Mosque’, a mosque reflected on the water

📍Likas Mosque: Central road of Kota Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu Malaysia 🎟️Entrance fee: 5 ringgit 🕡Opening hours: Sat-Thu 8:00~12:00, 14:00~15:30, 16:00~17:30 📝This mosque, completed in 1977, is said to be the most beautiful building in Kota Kinabalu. It is also called Likas Mosque, Blue Mosque, Floating Mosque, and City Mosque. I was personally attracted to the fact that it was a floating mosque, so I really wanted to visit this mosque ◽️Women cannot enter wearing regular clothes🙅‍♀️They must change into Islamic attire and enter. There are people who help you change into hijab and clothes. I have a firm sense of style, so I asked, "Can I wear it like this?" and they readily said yes. ◽️When a certain number of people gathered (a small number), a guide would come and explain the places and take pictures. The photos were taken by going through the photo spots, so they would give us a specific location😆 ◽️There were some places inside that non-Muslims could not enter, but the guide guided us around except for those places. ◽️When I went inside and tried to touch the Quran, a Muslim inside asked me if I was Muslim, and when I said no, he got a little angry and told me not to touch it. 🥹I asked the guide if I had acted extremely rudely, and the guide felt embarrassed and said that people who get angry over things like this are called Sabasa... ◽️While looking around the temple, I became friendly with the guide, and he said that he was a Grab driver and that he would take me on a tour if I needed it.
