Kumagaya Temple, located in the quiet mountains of Mt. Koya, is a temple that makes visitors stop and take a look. The moss-covered scenery on both sides of the stone steps is beautiful throughout the four seasons, and especially after rain, the moist air creates a fantastic atmosphere. In the temple grounds, there is a statue of Kumagai Naozane, known as a vassal of Minamoto no Yoshitsune, and a solemn main hall.
