Famous restaurant Putien from Fujian

#bestchinesefood Putien is a well-known restaurant chain that originated from Fujian, China, and has gained a strong reputation for its authentic Fujian cuisine. The Malaysia branch continues to uphold the brand's commitment to quality, freshness, and traditional flavors. Of all items, I found these items more remarkable: 1) Fried Heng Hwa Bee Hoon (兴化炒米粉) This dish is a standout at Putien, featuring thin, delicate rice vermicelli stir-fried to perfection. The bee hoon is lightly seasoned, allowing the natural flavors of the ingredients—such as shrimp, squid, and vegetables—to shine through. The texture is slightly crispy yet tender, making it a delightful contrast to the other dishes. 2)Putien Lor Mee (兴化卤面) A comforting noodle dish that showcases the simplicity and depth of Fujian cuisine. The broth is thick and savory, made from a blend of pork, seafood, and mushrooms, and served over soft, chewy noodles. The dish is garnished with fresh vegetables and seafood, making it a satisfying and well-balanced meal. While fried items (too oily) and yellow fish (too many tiny bones) are not recommendable, the rest of cuisine are generally good. But considering the high price point, I might not recommend them as much as we might be able to find cheaper alternatives in our neighbourhood which taste as good (if not better).
