Delicious local chinese food with its own touch

#bestchinesefood Having lived in KL for more than a dozen of years, one of the top 3 place for Chinese food in terms of quality/taste has to be Teak Heng. Every item is flavorful, that is for sure, though whether you like the taste or not is subject to personal preference. But I found most of them at least somewhat different from the other restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the seafood-pork tendon claypot, aged muichoy fried rice and fried sotong. Two things to note though: 1) this restaurant has no menu despite an actual huge variety of food. If you’re first timer, your best bet is do a research on the google maps, and order by photo. Else, ask the ladyboss for recommendations—her recommendation for vegetables is usually very expensive, but other than that they are affordably priced 2) this restaurant can get very crowded; do give it a call before hand to ensure seating.
