Local flavours in a drink

Hidden on the top floor of a shoplot is Kapitan Haus, find it by going into Da Bao restaurant either from the front via Jalan Petaling or from the back via Lorong Panggung. Don't be misled by the creaky wooden floors and the dodgy looking staircase up to the bar. The drinks are great and filled with local ingredients and flavours. From banana infused whisky to red date infused gin with longan and snow fungus to jackfruit infused pisco. All the drinks have an Asian twist to them and are highly interesting. While the drinks are great, the ambience is not the best, the music is loud and the lights are a glaring blue. Not a great place if you wish to have a conversation.
