Kui Buri Temple

Wat Kui Buri, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province 🙏This is an old temple since the early Ayutthaya period. There is a famous monk, Luang Pho Nai Kuti or Luang Pho Mak (Bunmak), who is famous for his Vipassana, black magic, and his high compassion. 🙏The villagers often call him "Luang Pho Nai Kuti" because when he is free from his various temple duties, he will sit and meditate regularly. It is said that sometimes he will meditate in his kuti for 7 days or 15 days. He will not get up or leave his kuti to go anywhere. For this reason, another name for him is "Luang Pho Nai Kuti". 🙏When Luang Pho Mak (Luang Pho Nai Kuti) passed away while meditating and the villagers built a "life-size statue" with his ashes inside, one day an old woman came to pay respect to Luang Pho. She had no money or anything to offer, only a gold leaf that she had received for free. She then applied it to the chest of the Buddha statue and prayed earnestly, asking for her family to be free from suffering. Not long after, her family miraculously saw a change for the better.
