Green Lake in Kunming

These are a couple shots from my trip to Kunming in Yunnan province. I took a walk around the green lake that was so peaceful I was shocked I could actually hear myself think undisturbed by the usual sounds of the city. 😯 Maybe some of you are used to this kind of quiet but I found it almost jarring - hear me out! I spent pretty much my whole life in bustling cities (moved from NYC to Shanghai) so it’s a real trip when I come across somewhere that’s truly serene.
