Location: Gojo Higashi, Kyoto (street name to tell the taxi driver) Recommended points: A rooftop bar with a lush view of Kyoto's greenery and open atmosphere Budget per person: From 3,000 yen (light meal and one drink) Rating: ★★★ It's different from the cheerful rooftop bars at seaside or resorts, and the mountains and townscape of Kyoto are very Kyoto-like, so I highly recommend it. The recommended food is TACOS, and the miso-flavored pork tacos were delicious with a Japanese taste. Almost 100% of the guests were foreigners. The rooftop bar is available to non-guests, but since it's a new hotel, the bar's existence is not well known yet, so I wonder if it will soon be available only to guests or on a limited basis...?
