We went to the highly popular afternoon tea at "THE GARDEN BAR" in HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO. You can enjoy beautiful sweets that represent the hotel's Japanese garden, which changes with the seasons. THE GARDEN BAR is connected to the Italian restaurant FORNI, which is also popular. The autumn-themed afternoon tea included sweets and mocktails that resembled autumn leaves and pine cones, which was a feast for the eyes. The TWG Tea, delivered in a custom-made luggage case, was also lovely. 6 types of savory dishes, 7 types of sweets, 2 types of scones, 3 types of condiments, and 2 types of drinks, for 6,100 yen. You can change to free flow for an additional 600 yen, but we recommend the free flow as there is a wide variety of drinks.
