Arashiyama Hanadensho is a hotel that many people have stayed in in Kyoto. I have stayed there before and I think it is a very good hot spring hotel. Location: JR Umekoji-Kyoto-nishi Station (about 3 minutes walk to the hotel, walk on a flat road and cross a road to arrive, it won’t be hard to carry luggage) But if you transfer from Kyoto Station to Umekoji-nishi Station, although there is only one stop, the waiting time is relatively long. Keep an eye on the schedule. Attractions: Next to it is the Kyoto Railway Museum and Kyoto Aquarium. At the Shichijo Entrance Square Park, there will be a small market in the afternoon during holidays, which happens to be the day of the temple. There is a bus stop in front of the park, which goes to Kinkaku-ji Temple and Kawaramachi. Jr takes 15 minutes to Arashiyama. Walk to Kyoto Station, about 20 minutes. The time period can be selected from 17:30/20:00. Dinner was filling but not very special. But it's a rare opportunity to come to a hot spring hotel, so you must try it once. The dinner at Arashiyama Hanadensho is expensive but much richer than this one. -Buffet breakfast But the buffet is much better than Arashiyama. Because it is a buffet, there are many choices. Room: You can see Kyoto Tower from the elevator lobby on the high floors. But our room only had road view. The ordinary triple room is very large, 29 square meters, and can easily open large luggage. Service/cleanliness: You have to take off your shoes upon entering the hotel. So the whole hotel is very clean. The staff will help you clean the wheels of your luggage before letting you go to your room. The service is very good. All the staff at the hot spring hotel have a very good service attitude.
