Raku Art Museum 🎨 is an art museum dedicated to Raku Yaki and Tea Ceremony 🍵 arts and crafts, located in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto. Raku Yaki is a traditional Japanese ceramic art that began in the 16th century and was created by generations of potters from the Raku family. The Raku Art Museum houses works from generations of the Raku family, as well as tea ceremony arts and crafts and Raku family documents, about 1,200 pieces. The Raku Art Museum holds four exhibitions a year to showcase the history, traditions and creations of Raku Yaki.
