Kyoto's Silver Temple Ginkakuji Temple

Ginkakuji Temple or the Silver Pavilion of Kyoto is another place registered with UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Ginkakuji Temple was built by Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa, the grandson of the Shogun who built Kinkakuji Temple, or widely known as the "Golden Pavilion" (Kinkakuji Temple). The building of the Silver Pavilion was built in the same style, but it is not gold. It is a 2-story building and has a phoenix on the roof of the building as well.
