Fushimi Inari Taisha, affectionately known as "Oinari-san," is the head shrine of the approximately 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan. The biggest attraction of Fushimi Inari Taisha is the "Senbon Torii." The sight of the vermilion-painted torii gates lined up in a row is a spectacular sight!! It is said that there are now approximately 10,000 torii gates lined up throughout the grounds, each filled with the thoughts of the worshippers.
