Kyoto Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum

If you can't make a reservation at Yamazaki in Osaka, you can come here. You can make a reservation online or just walk in. The entrance fee is 600 yen per person, which includes a sake cup and three tokens. If you're driving and can't drink, you'll receive a small bottle of sake to take home. The visit starts with a historical video and introduction about Gekkeikan, followed by a tour of their historical artifacts and sake. The most important part is the three tokens you receive at the entrance, which you can use to taste their sake. There are ten varieties to choose from. If you don't get enough or find one you like, you can buy more at the nearby store.
