Hotel Elcient Kyoto Hachijoguchi

#Spring0yentrip A few minutes walk from Kyoto Station on the Shinkansen line, it's a very convenient location. I stopped by to sightsee in Kyoto on my way back from a business trip in Kansai. It was my first solo trip. This hotel was 13,280 yen, including the lovely dinner and breakfast shown in the photo. I stayed for one night on a Sunday in February, and I thought it was a great deal to stay in Kyoto for this price. It was before the cherry blossom season, so there were relatively few tourists, and I was able to experience a quiet Kyoto for the first time in a while. I always go during the cherry blossom and autumn leaves seasons, so it's always crowded, so I thought a quiet Kyoto would be nice too. The plum blossoms at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine are just starting to bloom, and it was lovely.
