Feihu Gorge Travel Guide

Feihu Gorge is located in Baishishan Scenic Area, Baishishan Global Geopark, 15 km south of Laiyuan County, Baoding City. Opening hours: Open all day, all year round. Highlights: It is said that many flying foxes have been seen here. The gorge is famous for its strange peaks and deep, dangerous valleys. Recommended routes: a. The route includes uphill, downhill, and flat sections. It takes about 3 hours to walk the whole route. If you don't want to walk the whole route, you can take a cable car at Jiucaiyuan and Feiyunkou. You can take a cable car to the bottom of the mountain and then start walking. The cable cars are charged separately. b. Start from Jiucaiyuan, take a cable car/bus/walk to the entrance of the scenic area. This is the Feihu Gorge route. You can experience the glass walkway and walk on the transparent walkway 1,000 meters above the ground. This route takes a relatively short time. c. There is also a 6-hour route: Enter through the East Gate → Shuangxiong Stone Sea → Exit through the East Gate. Enter through the East Gate, take a cable car/bus/walk to Jiucaiyuan, then go through Feihu Gorge to Feiyunkou (meeting point), then go to Shuangxiong Stone Sea, then return to Jiucaiyuan, and finally take a cable car/bus/walk to the East Gate. d. 5.5-hour route: Enter through the East Gate → Exit through the East Gate.
