Phra Phutthabat Suthawas Temple

Wat Phra Phutthabat Sutthawat, formerly known as Wat Chaloem Phrakiat Phra Chom Klao Rachanusorn, or as the locals call it, Wat Phra Phutthabat Pu Pha Daeng, is located on a large mountain in Chae Hom District, approximately 800 meters above sea level and 500 meters above Chae Hom District. The highlight of Wat Phra Phutthabat Sutthawat is the large and small pagodas arranged on the top of the rocks along the limestone ridge on the western side of Chae Hom District. These pagodas were built from the faith of the locals and monks on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of King Mongkut (Rama IV) on October 18, 2004. In addition to the beauty of the large and small pagodas arranged on the top of the rocks, from this temple you can see a wide view of Chae Hom District, which is a beautiful and amazing sight. When walking up the mountain, the temple area is divided into two sides: the right side is a staircase leading up to the golden pagoda; From this angle, you can see Chae Hom District and the limestone ridge to the south. On the left side, there are stairs leading up to the prayer hall. From this viewpoint, you can see small and large pagodas scattered along the limestone ridge to the north. In the middle, there is a chapel with a Buddha image inside. Tourists can go in to pay homage or sit and relax in the cool breeze. To go up to see the view from the top of Wat Phra Phutthabat Sutthawat, tourists must take a four-wheel drive vehicle provided by the locals because the road is steep and requires expertise. The distance to go up is about 3.5 kilometers. The round trip fee is 100 baht per person, including the entrance fee to the wildlife sanctuary. When the car reaches the walking point at the top, tourists must walk up another 800 steps to reach the temple. How to get to Wat Phra Phutthabat Sutthawat Wat Phra Phutthabat Suthawat is located in Wichet Nakhon Subdistrict, Chae Hom District, 61 kilometers from Lampang Province. It takes about 1 hour by car. Opening hours: Open daily from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. #Drive until you're tired and take a break #mind_madge #secret location #waiting for the day to depart #thailand #northern-northeastern team #Lampang
