As soon as I entered the hotel lobby, I was immediately impressed by the high ceiling and crystal chandeliers. The design is luxurious and grand, the lighting is bright, and the atmosphere is perfect. I couldn't help but say "wow" when I saw it. However, the front desk is on the 51st floor, which means you have to change elevators every time you go up and down. This is really inconvenient! When I was waiting for the elevator to get takeout, I was so anxious that I wasted time on changing elevators. I really hope this can be improved. As for the toiletries, Shangri-La uses large bottles, which are environmentally friendly, but I personally prefer small bottles, which are more delicate and portable, and the amount can be easily controlled. The large bottles always feel a bit less ceremonial. However, their breakfast is really good! The variety of pastries is so wide that you'll be spoilt for choice. You can even eat financiers, which are sweet, soft, and delicate. This definitely adds to the breakfast experience. In the morning, have a breakfast like this to start a day full of energy. I've seen people complaining about the ice dew in the Shangri-La Hotel. This time, I stayed there and found that the room was equipped with Qilian Mountain No. 1 Ice Spring. This little surprise was unexpected, and the quality is definitely better. However, the hair dryer is from Xiaomi, which has overheating protection. It will stop after blowing for a few minutes, and you have to wait a while before continuing to blow. This affects the efficiency of hair drying. However, the feeling of staying in a hotel alone is really great. It's like a short escape from the mundane and a retreat to a paradise. You don't have to care about other people's eyes, and you can completely immerse yourself in your own little world, enjoy the tranquility that belongs to you, and it's really healing. I heard that the best hotel in Lanzhou is Hyatt. I can't wait to experience it next time and see who is better between Hyatt and Shangri-La!
