It was a trip to Lanzhou, China 🇨🇳 Lanzhou is a city where history, culture, and stunning natural landscapes come together 💯 We explored the best places for breathtaking photos 📸 from the iconic Yellow River to ancient temples and scenic mountains⛰️ We started our journey at Zhongshan Bridge, also known as the “First Bridge Over the Yellow River” 🙌 Arriving early in the morning, we captured beautiful shots of the sunrise 🌅 reflecting off the river and the historic iron bridge. We then hiked up to White Pagoda Mountain (Baita Mountain Park) ⛰️ where we had a stunning panoramic view of Lanzhou and the winding Yellow River 🙌 Sunset here was especially magical, as the golden light illuminated the pagoda and the surrounding landscape ✨ 📍Zhongshan Bridge Address: Zhongshan Road, Chengguan District, Lanzhou, Gansu, China 📍White Pagoda Mountain Address: Baita Mountain Road, Chengguan District, Lanzhou, Gansu, China We also took a boat ride along the Yellow River to visit the Bingling Temple Grottoes, a breathtaking collection of Buddhist caves carved into the cliffs 😍 The best time for photography is midday when the sunlight highlights the intricate stone carvings and the massive Buddha statues ✨ In the afternoon, we visited Waterwheel Park, a unique attraction showcasing the ancient irrigation tools used along the Yellow River. The combination of historic wooden 🪵 waterwheels and riverside views made for some great cultural shots 📸 📍Bingling Temple Grottoes Address: Xiaojishi Mountain, Yongjing County, Linxia, Gansu, China 📍Waterwheel Park Address: Binhe Middle Road, Chengguan District, Lanzhou, Gansu, China We also went to the famous “Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow” bronze statue. The museum’s exhibits on the Silk Road and ancient civilizations made for some fascinating and informative photography 📸 In the afternoon, we visited Five Springs Mountain Park, a peaceful escape with Buddhist temples, lush greenery 🌱 and scenic trails.
