Sunrise, sunset and moonrise at sea, Yuetuo Island, it’s worth it!

I chose Yuetuo Island as my destination for the Mid-Autumn Festival and set off from Beijing I read the guide for Yuetuo Island before I went there, and most of them were about avoiding spoilers. I want to talk about my true feelings about the trip. We set out at 7:30 in the morning and arrived at Sanbei Pearl Wharf in Leting County around 11:30. Take a boat to Yuetuo Island. Because it is the off-season, the ticket price is 78 yuan (including round-trip boat tickets). You can also choose to book a ticket + accommodation package, which is not expensive. You can only sit inside the boat and not on the deck. First of all, the sea water does not look blue, but because the weather is good and cool, it is good to take pictures and experience. The boat ride takes about 25 minutes. It is best to buy some instant food and mineral water before going to the island. The water on the island will be salty and the things will be more expensive (about twice the price). When we arrived on the island, we checked in first, and then a shuttle bus took us to where we were staying. We stayed in a wooden house on the water. The house was on an iron support with the sea below. It was a novel experience. Because it was on the sea, the room would sway slightly at night due to the waves. The room was clean, but the water from the faucet always felt slippery and I always felt that it was not clean. Everything else was fine. Fortunately, the weather was good for two days. The sunrise and sunset over the sea were very stunning. The moon was also very bright at night. There were also fireworks. I heard that there will be more grand fireworks and iron flowers in July and August. There are none now, but because there are fewer people, it is very easy to pick up shells or go to the sea on the beach. Some people brought fishing gear to catch a lot of big crabs and fish and gave them to the restaurant for processing. The processing fee is 20. They said it tasted good and the crab meat was sweet. However, I don't recommend the restaurants on the island. A friend who went there said that the crabs didn't have much meat, and the scallops and oysters tasted average. The grilled skewers were okay, but they were all quite expensive. We chose to eat instant noodles because we were only staying for two days, so the food was acceptable. It's still a bit cold in the morning and evening, so it's enough to bring a jacket recently. There are a lot of mosquitoes on the island, especially in places with a lot of grass. It's not an exaggeration to say that mosquitoes can carry people away. When I was taking pictures of the sunset, I had ten bites on my neck alone. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent and wear long sleeves and long pants.
