Explore the Natural Wonders of Tenglong Cave in Lichuan

General Information Location: No. 1, Tenglong Avenue, Lichuan City, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province. It is located at the intersection of the Daba Mountains and Wulingyuan, and is the source of the Qingjiang River. Cave Size: The cave has a total length of 59.8 km and a total area of more than 2 million square meters. There are 5 peaks, 10 halls, more than 10 underground waterfalls, and a total of five layers. More than 300 large and small branch caves have been explored. Natural Landscape Crouching Dragon Swallowing the River: The 800-li Qingjiang River plunges more than 30 meters when it flows through the water cave entrance of Tenglong Cave. The river water falls vertically, forming the magnificent landscape of "Crouching Dragon Swallowing the River." Cave Wonders: The stalactites in the cave are well developed, with stone pillars, stalagmites, stone flowers, and stone curtains. There are both amazing spectacles and lovely small scenes. Human Landscape and Activities Yishui Lichuan: The scenic spot has the largest original ecological cave theater in the country. Every day, a large-scale original Tujia folk song and dance performance "Yishui Lichuan" is staged, telling the arduous journey of the Tujia ancestors fighting against nature and showing their local customs. Tenglong Flying Sky: The only comprehensive laser show in a cave in China uses high-tech means to present tourists with beautiful pictures, creating a precedent for the combination of natural scenic spots and high technology. Tour Information Tickets: CNY 150 for admission, CNY 22 for the scenic spot shuttle bus (round trip), and CNY 10 for the battery car inside the cave. Hubei tourism benefit card holders can enjoy free admission. Opening Hours: Peak Season (May to October) 08:00-17:30, entry time 08:00-15:50; Off-season (November to April) 08:30-17:00, entry time 08:30-15:50. Transportation: Take a train from Enshi Railway Station to Lichuan Station, and take a taxi or Lichuan Bus No. 9 to get there; for self-driving, navigate to "Tenglong Cave Tourist Center".
