In the early morning, when the first ray of sunlight☀️ passed through the coconut grove and sprinkled on the wooden terrace of Lotte Home Residence, I was walking barefoot 👣 on the warm teak 🪵 floor, feeling the warmth from nature. In the distance, the sound of waves 🌊 gently lapping the beach is faint, mixed with the crisp bird calls 🦜 among the coconut trees, like a morning song of nature, gently awakening the sleeping soul. 🏡｜Lingshui Lotte Homestay 📍｜No. 80, Laoyang Village, Wenluo Town, Lingshui Li Autonomous County, Hainan Province This is my first day staying at Lingshui Lotte Homestay🏡, and it is also the starting point of my "home journey". This holiday villa 🏝️ located in Lingshui Li Autonomous County, Hainan, attracted me with its unique "homecoming" concept. It is not just a place to provide accommodation, but also a spiritual habitat for people to relieve fatigue and return to their true selves. Driving 🚗 through the lush coconut grove 🌴, Lotte Homestay comes into view. It does not have the grandeur of a traditional hotel, but blends into nature in a humble manner. The main body of the building is made of local wood 🪵 and stone 🪨, with warm and simple tones, which complement the surrounding coconut groves and beaches 🏖️. The designer cleverly incorporated elements of traditional Li architecture🏗into it. The thatched roof, wooden structure, and open courtyard all demonstrate respect for local culture📜. As you step into the lobby, you are greeted by a fresh woody scent. The high-ceiling space design allows sunlight to fall freely, and the interweaving of light and shadow makes it feel like being in a natural museum. In the center of the lobby are placed several traditional Li handicrafts, including rattan baskets and Li brocade ornaments, each of which tells the story of this land. I stayed in a sea view villa. When I opened the door, what came into view was a vast expanse of blue. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, the blue sea and blue sky seem to be within reach, and the coconut trees sway in the breeze, as if waving to me. The interior design of the room is simpleℹ️but not simplistic, with wooden furniture🪑, cotton and linen fabrics, and rattan decorations🏵️. Every detail reveals a natural atmosphere. What surprised me most was the open design of the room. There are no obvious partitions between the bedroom, living room and bathroom. The space is transparent and smooth, making people feel as if they are in nature. At Lotte Homestay, time seems to slow down. In the morning, I will go for a morning run among the coconut trees🏃, feeling the refreshing sea breeze on my face; in the afternoon, I will make a cup of tea🍵 on the terrace, read quietly📖, letting my thoughts drift away with the sea breeze; in the evening, I will stroll on the beach, watch the sunset🌅, and feel the magnificence of nature. There is no hustle and bustle of the city 🏙️, no work pressure, only inner peace 🍃 and love for life. Lotte Homestay also offers a variety of experience activities, such as Li culture experience, yoga meditation 🧘, beach barbecue 🍖, etc., so that every guest can find their own way to "return home". My favorite is the Li ethnic group's special ✨ "bamboo tube rice". Glutinous rice 🍚, bacon 🥩, mushrooms 🍄 and other ingredients are put into a bamboo tube and baked. The rice absorbs the fragrance of bamboo 🎋, and the salty fragrance of bacon and the deliciousness of mushrooms are perfectly blended. Every bite is unforgettable. There are also delicious seafood 🦞, sweet coconut chicken soup 🍲, crispy fried shrimp cakes 🫓... Every dish makes people feel the hospitality and love of life of the Li people. During the few days I spent at Lotte Guixin Residence, I felt like I had experienced a spiritual baptism. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city and returning to the embrace of nature, I have regained my inner peace and love for life. Every blade of grass, every brick and tile here seem to be telling the true meaning of "homecoming": only by letting go of obsessions and returning to your true self can you find true happiness.
