I had a great time in Linhai, Taizhou. The Taizhou Prefecture City Cultural Tourism Area, especially East Lake Park, is well worth a visit. The scenery and culture here are combined, which is far beyond the average scenic spot. Highly recommended. 🚉Transportation Guide: East Lake Park is next to Taizhou Prefecture City and is located in the urban area. There are two entrances, the South Gate and the North Gate. The North Gate is opposite the Lansheng Gate entrance of Taizhou Prefecture City Wall, which is known as the Great Wall of Jiangnan. Therefore, it is recommended to enter from the South Gate of East Lake and exit from the North Gate. Then go up the city wall from Lansheng Gate, which is also the best place to take pictures of Lansheng Gate. 🌟Highlights: East Lake Park is a place where scenery and culture are combined. There is the famous Rongxing Hall, the Huxin Pavilion, and the Luo Linhai Temple, all of which are worth seeing. After entering the park from the South Gate, the first thing you will see is Rongxing Hall, where you can see the genealogy of the Qian family of Wuyue and many precious exhibits, which will give you a deeper understanding of the Qian family of Wuyue. Then you can walk down the Nine-Curved Bridge to the Huxin Pavilion, which is the best place to see the scenery of East Lake. The view of the lake and mountains from the Huxin Pavilion is particularly beautiful. After passing the Huxin Pavilion, you will see the famous Luo Linhai Temple, where there is a statue of Luo Binwang and an introduction about him. It makes people marvel at the cultural richness of Linhai. 👍Most Recommended: In addition to the above attractions, I highly recommend taking a picture of Lansheng Gate in East Lake, which is the last picture I took, where you can see the panoramic view. There is also a stele forest hidden in East Lake, which you can visit if you have time, as many people have left their marks here in history. 📝Tips: It is recommended to visit East Lake and Taizhou Prefecture City Wall together. If you are traveling with elderly people who cannot climb the city wall of Lansheng Gate (198 steps, very high), you can take a taxi to Shanxing Gate in front of Lansheng Gate and go up the Great Wall from there, so you don't have to climb the stairs. The taxi fare is less than CNY 10.
