Huaying Mountain Tianyi Valley

Tianyi Valley, formerly known as Longxu Gully, also called Huaying Mountain Grand Canyon, is located at Ganba Township, Linshui County, Guang'an, on the southern foothills of the main peak of Huaying Mountain. It is a 4A scenic area, 85km away from Chongqing city area. The altitude of the scenic area ranges from 400m to 1000m. Within the 3km long canyon, more than 60 karst springs and caves have been discovered, as well as over 40 large waterfalls, among which ten are as high as a hundred meters. The waterfalls, karst caves, and springs are the three wonders of Tianyi Valley, which is known as 'Asia's number one cave river in the sky'. Tianyi Valley gathers the waters of thousands of peaks and gorges of Huaying Mountain into one stream, which, after meeting the fracture layer of the karst topography, forms a geological spectacle. The canyon is crisscrossed with ravines, fissures, caves, and hidden rivers leading to deep pools, adding endless mystery and charm to the gorge. A waterfall welcomes guests at the entrance to the scenic area; a natural waterfall directly opposite the main gate, tens of meters high, cascades down, stirring up thousands of snowflakes, as if greeting visitors; next to the waterfall stands a stele inscribed with 'Huaying Mountain Tianyi Valley'.
