This mountain in Shaanxi, Jiuzong Mountain, is actually a massive tomb

Zhaoling Mausoleum has a perimeter of 60 kilometers, covers an area of 200 square kilometers, and has more than 180 accompanying tombs. From the tenth year of Tang Zhen Guan (AD 636) when Empress Wen De of Taizong, Changsun, was first buried, to the twenty-ninth year of Kaiyuan (AD 743), the construction of Zhaoling Mausoleum lasted for 107 years, leaving a large number of cultural relics on and under the ground, which is the physical witness of the early Tang Dynasty towards the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Zhaoling set a precedent for the Tang Dynasty emperors to build tombs because of the mountains. From the south of the mountain, the stone was cut into the Yuan Palace. From the mound to the tomb, it is about 75 feet deep. There are five stone doors in front and back. There are many stone boxes on both sides of the tomb. The boxes are filled with iron boxes, and the iron boxes are filled with burial objects. The original copy of Wang Xizhi's Preface to the Orchid Pavilion is kept in the iron box.
