A guide to a day trip to Lisbon without any setbacks.

I stayed in Lisbon for 3 days, including 2 full days and 2 half days. Although I didn't enjoy myself to the fullest, I have visited all the highlights. In summary, Lisbon is worth the money, with good food, fun and high cost performance‼ ️ Belem District: Jerónimos Monastery, Monument to the Discoverers, Belém Tower, and Belém Egg Tarts are must-visit spots. They are not far from each other and can be visited on foot. An afternoon is enough to visit them. Note⚠️The monastery is closed every Monday. We happened to be there on a Monday, so we could only take pictures outside. The building is very beautiful. Belem Tower is a good place to watch the sunset. Although the reviews of Belem egg tarts are mixed, I think they are delicious! I recommend experiencing the sunset sailing. It is really romantic to wait for the sunset on the sailing boat. The whole journey takes 1.5 hours, but don't go when it's cold. Come on, don't ask me how I know [Facepalm]. 🔹Old Town: Plan at least a full day to experience the citywalk in the old town, the colorful houses, the undulating slopes, every alley is picturesque, the Pica elevator, and the No. 28 tram are all beautiful scenery along the way. In April and May, you can still see jacaranda trees on the roadside, the purple color is so beautiful! I have previously written an article 📕 about a one-day tour guide to the old town, which you can refer to. 🔹Observation Deck: ✔️St. Lucia Observation Deck The free viewing platform near the cathedral has a good view of the red roofs. ✔️Saint George Castle Although it costs 15 euros🎫, it is located at the highest point and offers a 360° panoramic view of Lisbon. The view is better than other observation decks, and you can also watch the sunset. There are also many peacocks in the castle🦚 🔹Lisbon Surroundings: ✔️Cabo da Roca "The land ends here and the sea begins here", the westernmost point of the European continent, a must-see attraction, but the wind is really strong, don't wear a skirt! Most tourists check in near the stone monument and take photos and then go back, but I I recommend the hiking trail on the other side of the lighthouse. It is less crowded and has beautiful scenery. It is very stunning. ️ ✔️Azenhas do Mar A small town not far from Cape Roca. The town is small but beautiful. You can have dinner here and wait for a sunset. ✖️Hellmouth I kind of regret not coming here. We only planned to visit Cape Roca and Azenhas do Mar that day. I thought I would not have enough time, but after visiting it, I think I should have enough time to come here. 🍽️Food: Maria Catita and Solar 31 de Alfama in the old town are the restaurants where I felt I had no disappointments. Moinho Dom Quixote, not far from Cabo da Roca, has delicious food and great views. I strongly recommend that you come here to eat after visiting Cabo da Roca, but you will need to wait in line for a while. 🏨Accommodation: Dare Lisbon House Great B&B, good location, right near the Santa Justa elevator, next to the internet-famous seafood rice uma, there are many small shops to visit around, you can arrange half a day to buy souvenirs. 🚗Transportation: We used Bolt to take a taxi the whole way. We didn't want to waste time on traffic. It's very convenient to take a taxi. Moreover, it's not expensive to take a taxi in Portugal. It's recommended to take a taxi for 3-4 people. ️
