A Comfortable and Pleasant Stay at the Lisboa Acores Hotel

My surprisingly pleasant stay at the Lisboa Acores Hotel was truly refreshing. Located on Avenida Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro, 3 Praça de Espanha, the hotel boasts a convenient location right next to a subway station, making it easily accessible from the airport via a simple subway ride. It's also close to the city center. The location is truly impeccable. The subway station right outside the hotel makes getting around incredibly easy, perfect for independent travelers like us. The hotel's decor is simple and elegant, with a slightly retro touch. The view from the eighth floor is genuinely lovely; opening the window reveals a welcome sight of greenery. Although they're just small trees, it was a pleasant surprise. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming, fluent in English, and very helpful, which is a huge plus for non-Portuguese speakers 😄. As for the room, the bed was firm and comfortable, and the room itself was a good size. The bathroom was very spacious and featured a full-size bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. The only thing to watch out for is the metal edge at the bottom of the bathroom door, which is a bit sharp; I accidentally scratched myself on it. Overall, though, the room was clean, comfortable, and very satisfying. Breakfast offered a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, as well as delicious cakes. Although the coffee was machine-made, it was still quite good. The adjacent bar area was also very convenient for a relaxing drink after a night out. Lisbon is a vibrant city, and the hotel's convenient transportation allowed us to experience many of the city's major sights in a short amount of time. I recommend visiting Praça do Comércio to soak in the unique local culture. There are also many excellent restaurants near the hotel, such as Ola Nepal House and Il Mercato Páteo Bagatela, which foodies shouldn't miss! 🍜🍕. However, there were a few minor drawbacks. Irons aren't provided in the rooms, supposedly for safety reasons, which is slightly inconvenient for business travelers. The bathroom design is a bit flawed, with the water temperature fluctuating between hot and cold, requiring some patience to adjust. However, these minor issues were insignificant compared to the excellent service and overall comfort. In summary, the Lisboa Acores Hotel is definitely worth a try. Its location and service are particularly noteworthy. Despite a few minor flaws, the overall experience was very enjoyable, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Lisbon! 💖
