The Footman

Solid brick built corner pub with what looks like a massive dormer window on the top. Inside the place is very understated in a simple but uparket way. It proves that in some cases you don't need lots of decor to make a pub attractive. The panelling around the top of the bar and to the side of one door are unusual features with a nod to art deco. Sadly a big screen tv dominates one wall kind of spoils the appearance. Thankfully it was of during my visit.
