Wat Pa Phatthapiyaram (Arunolokuttara)

Following in the footsteps of Professor Ole Wat Pa Phatthaphiyaram is located in Khok Tum Subdistrict, Mueang Lop Buri District, Lop Buri Province. It was originally just a monastery. It is located on the east side of Ang Sap Lek, a large freshwater reservoir in Lop Buri. According to history, the Buddha performed all kinds of austerities until his body became thin. When Indra saw this, he offered the fruit of the myrobalan as medicine. The Buddha ate the fruit of the myrobalan and his body became strong. And don't forget to go up to the octagonal chapel of the Daowadung Devasathan where Indra resides.
