Lu'an·Wanxi Museum

The Wanxi Museum is located on the east side of the city administrative center in the new government district of Lu'an City, with a total land area of 27,000 square meters, three floors above ground, one floor underground, and a total construction area of 12,000 square meters. The architectural design is unique and the structure is novel, with a three-story main hall at the center, a two-story east and west wing room on the south side, and a concave-shaped two-story rear building on the back. Lu'an is the fief of the descendants of Gao Tao, and it was the land of the six states during the Shang dynasty. In the Spring and Autumn period, it became a territory of Chu and was the ancient battlefield of the hundred-year struggle between Wu and Chu. During the Han dynasty, the kings of Jiujiang, King Yingbu of Huainan, and the kings of Lu'an, Liu Chang and Liu Qing, all established their capitals here.
