It is rated as "the highest peak of Chinese stone carving art" by UNESCO, ranking first among all major grottoes in China. 👍 2⃣️For the chance to see the face of Empress Wu Zetian - the Big Buddha of Lushe! 🙏 3⃣️The legendary "Fish Leaping over Longmen" happened at Longmen Bridge in Longmen Grottoes! The bridge is majestic and beautiful, reflected in the clear water of Yishui, making the mountains and rivers appear the same color. [Awesome] 4⃣️Baiyuan - Located on the Pipa Peak of Dongshan Mountain in the scenic area, it is the cemetery of Bai Juyi, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. There is a white marble statue of Bai Juyi inside, and you can admire the literati style from the book. Here you can not only reminisce about the famous works handed down by Bai Juyi that you have read in textbooks, but also appreciate the beauty of calligraphy art! ✅Must experience: Xishan Grottoes, Dongshan Grottoes, Xiangshan Temple, and Baiyuan (note: only Xishan Grottoes and Xiangshan Temple are open for night tours), but the night tour to Longmen will be suspended from November 1st. I can only look forward to the opportunity for night tours next year, and hope to be able to do so again.
