📍Stepping into Tianxin Drill Ground in Luoyang's old town, the Secluded Grand Tang🌳 Hotel is like a time machine☀️, slowly unfolding the Republic of China era before your eyes👀. 🏠Architecture: The Texture of History Blue brick walls, arched windows, and vine-covered🌳 facades bear the mottled marks of time. Inside, wooden staircases and vintage chandeliers🔦 instantly transport you to a Republic-era mansion, where every architectural detail holds stories📖 of bygone days☀️. 🏠Room Types Originally built in 1922 as part of the Republic's provisional government renovations, the B&B offers 58 rooms🛏️ across 3 themes. We stayed in the Shiyi Mansion, featuring loft family rooms👶 and honeymoon suites👭. 🎳Amenities Book nook📖, Guzheng room, children's playground🎠, outdoor garden🌸, creative plaza ❤️The highlight is the collection of Republic-style cheongsams👘 and accessories👗—bring a photo-savvy📷 friend because the interiors are incredibly photogenic📷. 🛏️Rooms The biggest surprise was the complete coffee☕️ brewing setup with complimentary snacks and fruits🍉. Toiletries🧴 are from AFU, and the large bathtub🛁 pairs with zero-pressure memory foam bedding for undisturbed sleep. Our ground-floor room had a charming outdoor garden🌸 basking in warm sunlight🌞—pure bliss😌. 🍽️Dining Breakfast🍳 offers both Western (croissants🥯, sandwiches🥪, paninis delivered to your room) and Chinese options🥢 (vouchers for nearby specialty beef soup🥩 joints). We chose Western to save room for the legendary small-bowl beef soup🥣 nearby—must order extra meatballs and spicy🌶️! The crispy youxuan flatbread was so good we devoured two😂. For dinner, Wang Pangzi's Braised Beef Tripe near the B&B comes highly recommended👍. En route, snap pics📷 of the stunning Shan-Shaan Guildhall (currently closed but worth admiring from outside). 🎡Nearby The newly built Grand Canal Museum🎨 is a scenic 15-minute riverside park🌳 stroll🚶 away. Luyi Ancient City sits opposite the B&B, while Yingtian Gate is best reached by taxi🚗 or e-bike🛵.
