Langmusi Temple, a Sacred Sanctuary on the Border of Sichuan and Gansu

📍Address: Langmusi Scenic Area. Located at the intersection of faith, spanning Sichuan and Gansu provinces, Langmusi is a Tibetan town situated on the border of Zoigê County, Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, and Luqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu. The Bailong River, less than 2 meters wide, flows through the town. The north bank belongs to Gansu and houses the "Anduo Dacang Langmusi Temple" (Gelug school), while the south bank belongs to Sichuan and houses the "Kirti Monastery" (Nyingma school). The two temples face each other across the river, forming a unique "one town, two provinces, three temples" layout. 🚗Transportation: Driving from Chengdu, take the Chengmian Expressway to Dujiangyan, then transfer to National Highway 317. The entire journey is about 400 km and takes 6–7 hrs. Along the way, you can enjoy the Minjiang River canyon and the plateau meadows. There are also direct buses from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station to Langmusi every day (about 9–10 hrs, ticket price approx. CNY 150). 👍️Must-See Attractions: 1. Misty Canyon: The Langmusi Grand Canyon is known as the "abode of souls." Snow-capped mountains stretch on both sides, and the Bailong River rushes through the valley floor. In the morning mist, it looks like a fairyland. 2. Light of Faith: Kirti Monastery houses thousand-year-old Thangkas and Buddha statues. Monks chant scriptures in the main assembly hall every morning, and the golden roof shines brightly in the sunlight. 3.
