Hangzhou weekend destination - Pingxiang Wugong Mountain

🚉Transportation strategy: Leave by train on Friday night, sleeper for one night, arrive around 6am on Saturday. After exiting the station, carpool to the hiking spot. Return to Hangzhou by high-speed rail on Sunday afternoon. 🗓Itinerary: Considering that we had to go to work on Monday and our own physical condition, we started from Shenzi Village (usually there are more people going to Long Village), circled Jiulong Mountain, and finally arrived at Jinding before sunset to watch the sunset. The total distance is 11 kilometers. Although I didn't join a tour group, I met some nice and lovely fellow travelers along the way. There were probably about 15 people on this route that day (which I think is not a lot). In the end we all got together [Cute][Cute] It was a wonderful experience. The scenery along the way is also nice. There were a few sections where the road was climbing all the time and it felt a bit hopeless. But in the natural environment, the energy field is very strong, so we succeeded without any major setbacks. (I feel like I can conquer more mountains with my friends!) [Yeah][Yeah] We went down the mountain after watching the sunrise on Sunday, taking the scenic route down the mountain. My experience is that you have to go down the mountain early, otherwise there will be so many people that you need to queue up even to walk down the mountain. After going down the mountain, we had a local lunch. Return to Hangzhou by high-speed rail at 3 pm. 🛏Accommodation If you have the conditions, it is recommended to stay in the starry sky room on the top of the mountain. The tent looked too cold. And there are really a lot of people staying on the mountain. There were many people walking by the tent, so it was a bit noisy. I went to work as usual on Monday. My calves were a little sore, but everything else was normal [Grin] I suggest you buy two trekking poles!
