I avoided the crowded Grand Sampa Archway and chose to explore the quiet inner city, which was surprising along the way~ If you pass by the Pedro V Theater, St. Old Lenzo, and St. Joseph's Monastery, be sure to go in and stroll around. Although these small buildings are not grand, the exquisite carvings and the atmosphere of their own story are really super charming. The mint and lemon cream cake-coloured architecture with lush gardens is intoxicatingly beautiful in the early morning sun. When I'm tired from walking, I go to Sheng Kee White Congee for a casual meal. Their congee is freshly made every day. It's warm and nourishing. Then proceed to the Zheng Family House, then through the Filipino gathering area, to the Mazu Temple to feel the historical rhythm. If you are lucky, like me, I bumped into Cai Guoqiang’s AI exhibition at the Maritime Museum and checked in. Climbing the Bishop's Hill chapel is a bit strenuous, but the top overlooks the entire Macau island, the scenery is stunning! After going down the hill, go to Lima Do School's 1868cafe, order a cup of coffee, eat a light meal, look at the children after school around, and enjoy the different liveliness. New Yaoban can go for a stomping spot, however it is a traditional department store. After strolling out, the sun is setting, Macau's night is another exciting, waiting for you to unlock ~ This Macau citywalk is really meaningful, quickly arrange to get up!
