Mae Kampong Village

Mae Kampong Village is a very leisurely and simple village, full of unique wooden houses. Along the way, there are shops offering traditional Thai food. Personally, I prefer Northern Thai sausage (a bit spicy). The village has an old street vibe and even a mini self-service gas station, which is quite fascinating. It's about a 70-minute drive from Chiang Mai. If you encounter afternoon thunderstorms while riding, be cautious of slippery roads. After visiting, you can drive for another 30 minutes to reach the magnificent Giant Tree Café! Highly recommend arranging a day trip here when visiting Chiang Mai!
